TidyContracts is a small independent software product operated by a single developer. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to delete.
Email address — when you download a template or ask for a report to be emailed to you.
Uploaded contract text — read in memory to generate a risk report. The file itself is not saved to disk or to object storage.
Anonymous usage data — page path, interface language and referring domain. We do not store IP addresses, user agents or cookies, and we do not build advertising profiles.
Payment data — handled entirely by our merchant of record (Creem). We never see or store your card details.
Extracted contract text is sent to our model provider to generate the report. Nothing else about you is sent.
Email delivery is handled by an email service provider.
Data is stored in a managed PostgreSQL database and the application runs on a managed hosting platform.
Payments, invoices and tax are handled by Creem as merchant of record.
Contracts: the uploaded file is not retained. Extracted text and the generated report may be kept to let you re-open a report and to improve the product.
You can ask us to delete a specific report at any time.
We do not set advertising or tracking cookies. Our usage counting is first-party and does not rely on cookies.
Write to hello@tidycontracts.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data. We aim to respond within 7 days.
If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page.
