These terms govern your use of TidyContracts. By using the site or a paid subscription you agree to them.
TidyContracts is software. You upload a contract and receive an automated report describing clauses that are usually negotiated, common market practice, clauses that appear to be missing, and questions you may wish to raise.
We are not a law firm and we do not provide legal advice. The output is general information about contract language and does not create a lawyer-client relationship. Always have a qualified lawyer review anything important.
You need a valid email address to receive a report or manage a subscription. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us and for keeping access to that email secure.
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Creem, our merchant of record, which also handles applicable taxes and invoices.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the customer portal; access continues until the end of the period you have paid for.
Prices are shown on our pricing page. We may change them, and will give notice before a change applies to an existing subscription.
If you are not satisfied, contact us within 7 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full.
Later billing periods are non-refundable, but you can cancel to stop the next renewal.
Do not upload contracts you have no right to share, do not attempt to extract the service for resale, and do not use it to build a competing dataset.
We may suspend an account that abuses the service or puts other customers at risk.
You keep all rights to the contracts you upload. You grant us the limited licence needed to process them and show you the result.
Templates and site content are ours. You may use downloaded templates for your own business, including with your own clients, but not resell them as templates.
The service is provided as is. Automated analysis can miss clauses or misread ambiguous drafting, and we do not warrant that a report is complete or correct for your situation.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months.
These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Nothing here removes rights you have under mandatory consumer law in your own country.
